Profile
Gao Chuang, male, Han nationality, born in July 1953, is a native of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, Ph.D. in Economics, visiting scholar at the University of Memphis, USA, professor, and doctoral supervisor. He receives special allowances from the State Council. He is currently Director of the Academic Committee of the Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB), Academic Dean of CUEB College of Business Administration, and Dean of CUEB International School of Comparative Management. He is also member of the Business Administration Discipline Review Group of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, member of the Steering Committee of the Business Administration Discipline of the Ministry of Education, member of the Expert Group of the China Postdoctoral Management Committee, Vice President of the Chinese Institute of Business Administration, and judges of the National Social Science Fund of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
 
His research directions are corporate governance and comparative management. He has edited and written nearly 20 textbooks such as "Modern Enterprise Management". Among them, "Overview of Enterprise Management" was rated as a national excellent textbook. He has published nearly 100 papers in relevant journals at home and abroad, and has written and published more than 10 academic monographs. He has presided more than 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Social Science Fund, at provincial and ministerial levels. He also conducted international cooperation research with Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Chinese Office of the European Union, and won over 10 awards at the national, provincial and ministerial levels.
