On September 23rd, National Organic and Refinery Chemical Engineering Intermediate Compound Seminar was held in the Library Report Hall of our university. Wang Daquan, Director of Refinery Chemical Engineering Specialty Committee of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, Wang Xiaoguang, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Dean of Hunan Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Director of National Engineering Research Center of Agrochemicals, and President Luo He’an of our university presented at the opening ceremony. More than 60 units from
Wang Daquan presided the opening ceremony. According to the national principles of sustainable development stratagem, cyclic economy and environment protection, Wang Daquan pointed out that Refinery Chemical Engineering Specialty Committee of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China decided the whole industry should give priority to the major direction towards the development of green, hi-tech and new refinery engineering based on the scientific concept of development. The whole industry should also proceed to independent creation and original creation, focus on the combination of production, university, research, government and enterprise to overcome creative projects of 21 different aspects and give a demonstration effect on the road of industrialization, commercialization, industrialization and internationalization.
Luo He’an introduced the attendants the chemistry and chemical engineering subjects of our university, especially the research situations, features and advantages of organic compound and refinery chemical engineering research. He said the seminar was a grand gathering of the chemistry and chemical engineering academy, which built a splendid platform to enhance the cooperation and communication between the experts and scholars of the organic and refinery intermediate compound academy. At the mean time, the seminar also provided an uncommonly study opportunity for our university and would significantly accelerate the development of construction and scientific research of the chemistry and chemical engineering subjects of our university.
During the seminar, Luo He’an, Wang Xiaoguang and Professor Lu Chunxu, Vice-president of Nanjing University of Science and Technology gave six seminar reports entitled “Green Process System Integration/Compound”, “Research on the Situation and Development Trend of Chinese Agrochemicals Intermediate Compound” and “M-nitrotoluene Transformation Utilization and Its Engineering Application Technology”, etc. Besides these, the seminar delivered 26 group reports and re-elected the Eighth Committee of Refinery Chemical Engineering Intermediate Compound.
On September 24th, the close ceremony of the seminar was held in Xiangtan Hotel. Chen Xiaoming, Vice-president of our university, presented at the ceremony.
