Project Construction Feasibility Research Report of Complicated Locus Processing Technique and Equip

Entrusted by Ministry of Education, Education Department of Hunan Province organized the construction demonstration meeting of Complicated Locus Processing Technique and Equipment Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education on August 15th. The expert group of the demonstration meeting is consisted of 7 experts from engineering, technology and administration fields. Dong Weiguo, Division Chief of High-tech Division of Technology Department of Ministry of Education, Shen Jiyun, Deputy Director of Education Department of Hunan Province, and Xu Wei, Division Chief of Technology Division of Education Department of Hunan Province presented at the demonstration meeting. Relative staff from Technology Department, School of Mechanics Engineering and Engineering Center of our university attended the demonstration meeting.

On behalf of our university, Vice-President Professor Chen Xiaomin gave a short introduction on the basic situation of our university in the demonstration meeting. Director of Engineering Research Center Professor Tan Yuanqiang reported the revised Project Construction Feasibility Research Report of Engineering Research Center according to the experts’ web appraisal opinions of Ministry of Education. After the careful listening of the report, the checking of relative materials and the detailed site inspections and discussions, all the experts agreed that: “The construction basis of Complicated Locus Processing Technique and Equipment Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education is comparatively good with clear construction objective, feasible construction plan and attainable fund and site.” All the experts agree on the pass of the Project Construction Feasibility Research Report of the Engineering Research Center.

The university now has two Engineering Research Centers. Thereinto: Chemical Engineering Process Simulation and Optimization Engineering Research Center is one of the 43 first group Engineering Research Centers of Ministry of Education in 2001 and it successfully passed the check in 2004. In the application working process of the second group Engineering Research Centers of Ministry of Education organized by Ministry of Education at the beginning of this year, the university leaders paid high attention to the work and relative function departments and schools elaborately organized and closely cooperated to guarantee that Complicated Locus Processing Technique and Equipment Engineering Research Center of Ministry of Education would be approved after the pass the appraisal of Department of Education in the first place in Hunan Province and the ultimate pass of appraisal organized by Ministry of Education.
