Four Professors of XTU Employed as Experts in the Consultant Group of the Activity of One Thousand E
On the morning of the 14th February, the Establishment Meeting of the Consultant Group of the activity of One Thousand Enterprises Going into Villages was held at the Hunan Institute of Socialism. One hundred and six experts from universities, research institutes and related departments are formally employed to form the Consultant Group, and Prof. Fang Shimin, Prof. Liu Jianping, Prof. Cheng Zhigang and Prof. Chu Erming from XTU were among them.
In March, 2007, United Front Work Department of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce jointly launched the activity of One Thousand Enterprises Going into Villages for Common Development. This activity is aimed to guide Hunan’s non-public enterprises, people from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, as well as overseas commercial and industrial figures to take part in the new rural construction. The activity of One Thousand Enterprises Going into Villages for Common Development has been carried out for almost two years. The main tasks of this Consultant Group are: 1. to give comprehensive suggestions to the activity; 2. to give professional guidance to specific issues concerning activities that enterprises engage in such as investment on plants building, industrial development, and base construction and so on; 3. to give plans, feasibility studies and proof service to key projects that are to be carried out by the enterprises in villages; 4. to organize enterprises, experts and villages to cooperate with each other so as to commercialize the agricultural research findings.
