XTU won the Championship of the 4th ACM-ICPC Zhuhai Race



On April 17, the 4th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest Zhuhai Race and “Kingsoft Cup” programming challenge 2011 were held at Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology. After 5 hours of hard struggling, our team XTU_WTL (member: Wang Guojian, Tang Jie and Liu Yuansheng, coach: Xie Yong) won the championship and first prize.

This contest is being participated 139 teams from 26 universities, like Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Xiangtan University, Hunan University and so on.

Its known that ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC), hosted by Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), is an annual contest which fosters creativity, teamwork, and ability of programming under pressure and enables students to analyze and solve problems. It’s recognized as the largest and highest-level international collegiate contest in the world, which enjoys widespread influence in global universities and IT industry.
