One Book of Press Entering in “Three Top 100” Original Books Publication Project

Currently, the results of the 3rd “Three Top 100” Original Books Publication Project were released and issued by General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China. The Republic Foodstuff Report published by the Press of our university has been chosen in the Project.

 

The “Three Top 100” Original Books Publication Project is an important excellence promotion one held by General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China, for the improvement of publication innovation in fields of humanities and social sciences, sciences and technologies, literary and artistic creation. The appraisal is issued every two years, and 100 books in each field of humanities and social sciences, or artistic and juvenile creation, or sciences and technologies, will be chosen respectively. Based on the principles of putting quality before quantity, and the procedures of qualification examination, grouping screen, conference discussion and single candidate voting system, the Three Top 100 books will be chosen by experts of judging panel from books all over the country. This year, there are 1167 books, and then 298 books are chosen out, including 98 books in field of humanities and social sciences, 100 books in field of artistic and juvenile creation, and 100 books in field of sciences and technologies. There are only 6 books in 4 publishing houses being chosen in the Project.

 

Since the foundation of Press of our university, it sticks to the principle of “Quality First, Content Supreme”, to perform the original books publication seriously and take the prominent effect. In 2009, 2 original books entered in Top 100 Books Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of P.R.C. And, in 2011, this Republic Foodstuff Report as Nomination Prize of National Publishing Governmental Award is a breakthrough of national awards.
