Ten Professors from XTU Elected as Members of Steering Committee for Professional Teaching in Colleg

Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of newly chosen as members (2013-2017) of Steering Committee for Professional Teaching in Colleges and Universities. Ten professors from Xiangtan University were elected.

 

The ten selected members and committees were as follows: Huang Yunqing (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Mathematics in Colleges and Universities, vice chairman), Zhou Yichun (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Materials Physics and Chemistry in Colleges and Universities), Gao Xieping (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Computers in Colleges and Universities), Wang Xiangqing (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Philosophy in Colleges and Universities), Yan Jiahua (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Public Administration in Colleges and Universities), He Zhen (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Archival Science in Colleges and Universities), Wen Weiping (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of English in Colleges and Universities, Zeng Yicheng (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Electronic Information in Colleges and Universities), Yang Yunquan (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of Chemical Engineering in Colleges and Universities), and Liu Feibing (Steering Committee for Professional Teaching of College English in Colleges and Universities).

 

The members of the Steering Committee for Professional Teaching in Colleges and Universities were carefully selected by the Ministry of Education after recommendation of provincial (district, municipal) educational administrative departments, institutions of higher learning under central departments, industrial associations and the previous Steering Committee as well as solicitation of opinions. The Ministry of Education awarded letters of appointment to them, with the term of office from April 1, 2013 to December 31, 2017.
